Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Cancellation by the traveller
If you cancel a confirmed booking, the following standard fees apply: more than 30 days before the start date — full refund minus a 10% administrative fee; 15–30 days before — 50% refund of the total tour price; 7–14 days before — 25% refund; less than 7 days before, or no-show — no refund. Cancellations must be sent in writing to info@touristik.am. The cancellation date is the date we receive your email.
2. Hotel bookings
Hotel reservations made through our system are subject to the individual cancellation policy of each rate, which is shown before you confirm the booking and on your voucher. Some rates are non-refundable. Once you book a non-refundable rate, no refund is possible.
3. Transfers
Airport and intercity transfers can be cancelled free of charge if cancelled at least 24 hours before pickup. Cancellations within 24 hours, or no-shows, are charged in full.
4. Custom / tailor-made tours
For custom itineraries, stricter cancellation terms may apply because costs are committed to local suppliers in advance. These terms are set out in your individual quote and confirmation.
5. Cancellation by Touristik
If we cancel a tour (e.g., minimum group size not reached, safety, force majeure), you will receive a full refund of payments made to us for the cancelled services, or an equivalent alternative if you prefer. We are not liable for costs you paid to third parties (flights, visas, separate hotels).
6. Force majeure
Neither party is liable for failure to perform caused by events beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, epidemics, strikes, border closures, and government actions. In such cases we will work in good faith to reschedule or issue a fair refund of recoverable amounts.
7. Refund processing
Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method within 14 business days of our cancellation confirmation. Bank processing times may add additional days.
8. Travel insurance
We strongly recommend that every traveller holds travel insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses, and baggage. Insurance may cover losses that fall outside our refund policy.
